Thursday, July 11, 2019-This woman became the face of the 2007/2008 post election violence after she was captured on camera wailing and crying for help  after Kiambaa church was set ablaze.

She was among the women and children  who were hiding in the church that was set ablaze after members of Kikuyu community were attacked by Kalenjins.

She survived the violence but a relative says that she has been living in a trauma for 12 years after witnessing innocent women and children being burnt .

Sadly, she has lost her life.

Here’s a post from a man who calls her aunt.

May her soul rest in peace.
